Position Title: Director of Youth Ministry
Main Duties:
To equip, develop and partner with lay leaders to strengthen areas of youth ministry that include programming for Children (age 2-5th grade) & Family Ministry; Middle School and High School.
Length of Employment with GSLC: September 1, 2009 - Present

Husband - John; Daughter - Margaret; Son - Ian; and Daughter - Blake.
Where were you raised (if St. Louis, what part): I was raised in Imperial, Missouri
Hobbies and "extracurricular" activities:
"I enjoy (and spend a lot of time) watching my two youngest in their various sporting teams and my oldest perform in various theatre productions in the St. Louis and Springfield, MO area, where she is a musical theatre major. I also enjoy reading, watching movies with my husband, spending time with my nieces and nephews and laughing with family and friends. (I wish I could say I am a gourmet cook and avid photographer - in reality, I make a lot of 30-minute meals and have a LOT of photos from my digital camera still stored electronically

What aspect of your job do you find most satisfying:
"We are so very blessed with a great community of people here at Good Shepherd. Be it our parent partners in our youth ministry program or the vast number of members who participate in our wide variety of service and outreach programs, this truly is a special place...truly a family in Christ. Getting to know, laugh and learn with the kids is a great bonus - God's blessings are all around!"
What career path led you to your current position with GSLC:
"After spending more than 20 years in advertising and marketing, I went back to school to work toward a teaching degree. Along the way, I served in various leadership positions within the Learning Ministry here at Good Shepherd as well as in the schools my children attend. I love learning and laughing with youth and their families and can often be heard saying "I LOVE this age!" for pretty much EVERY age level. I am so blessed to be in this position - God is so good to me!"
