To help prepare you for your special role at VBS and to familiarize you with the Bible stories that we will focus on at this year’s VBS, you are invited to attend special meetings at 9:30 during the month of June in room 150. Each Sunday, we will look at one of the five days of VBS lessons. It would be great if you could attend all of these meetings, but if you are only available for a couple of them, we would love to have you. Please come to room 150 on Sundays in June at 9:30.

We are “Following Christ, Growing in Faith and Sharing God’s Love” through the production and presentation of a Christian Musical at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church Summer Music Camp! There will by singing, acting, choreography, recreation, Bible study, crafts fellowship and fun! The cost of the camp is $80 for the week and includes a music book with CD, a camp t-shirt and camp memento. Registration forms are due by April 14th.

If you are a team leader and you have not yet signed up for training on the new website, we need you to do so right away. The cross was made by an original member of St. Luke’s and was part of the front of the church until our reconstruction of the present sanctuary. It
looks inspirational in the daytime, but is dark at night. It has been decided to start a “light the cross” fund. Look for the poster in the Narthex with the yellow envelopes for donations.

We are currently looking for additional nursery staff on an as needed basis. We provide childcare for our worship services Saturday night and Sunday morning. Due to vacations and college plans for our current staff, we are in need of additional staff. We are looking for someone 16 and older who would be willing to care for children on an as needed basis beginning in June. If you are interested, please contact Suzie Everingham at 636-391-6685.
