GSLC Congregation Council

The Congregation Council leads the congregation in stating its mission, doing long-range planning, setting goals and priorities, and evaluating activities in light of GSLC’s mission and goals. Congregation Council members include the Pastoral Staff as well as:

Council President
The President of the Congregation Council leads and supports ministries of Good Shepherd with specific duties as described by our Congregational Bylaws, as well as working with Pastors and staff to build and strengthen the vision for the church.

Council Vice President
The Vice President of the Council is in charge of all aspects of Human Resources and fills in for the President as necessary.

Council Secretary
The Secretary of the Council takes the minutes during the monthly Council meetings and congregational meetings. The minutes are approved by the Council and posted for the congregation to read.

Council Treasurer
The Treasurer handles the preparation of the Church's financial statements and the reconciliation of the Church's bank account.

Council At-Large Members
At-Large Council members serve in varying capacities according to their own personal gifts and areas of expertise.
