At numerous times throughout the year, congregation members and teams provide financial assistance to those in need. Many of these financial donations are made through GSLC's Benevolence Fund.
Other donations are made annually to support on-going programs while some are focused on helping with specific one-time needs. The examples below illustrate just some of the ways that Good Shepherd provides financial support and assistance.

Every year GSLC awards scholarships to members attending Lutheran colleges and universities.
Theological Education
Traditionally, GSLC has donated our Thanksgiving collection to assist seminarians at Wartburg Theological Seminary with educational and/or medical expenses they may have while in school.
