Girlfriends Unlimited is Good Shepherd's Women's ministry program.  Through Girlfriend's Unlimited at Good Shepherd, we offer opportunities for women to carve some time out of their busy schedules to lift one another up in Christ!

Girlfriends Unlimited at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church includes these opportunities for women of all ages:

• G! Groups – These are interest groups that meet monthly and provide an opportunity for women to share similar interests.  Some of our G! Groups include:
  • Cuisine Queens - meets the 3rd Thurs. of the Month at 7 pm, various restaurants and locations
  • Crafters ‘n Scrappers - meets the 3rd Wed. of the month at 7pm in Room 108
  • Gamin’ Gals - meets the 1st Mon. of the month at 1:00 p.m. in Room 108, bring a lunch!
  • Hiker Chicks - meets the 3rd Sat. of the month at 10am at various hiking locations around St. Louis
  • Book Club - meets the 3rd Tues. of the Month at 7pm in members homes
  •  
• Girlfriends Night Out (GNO) events – These events are designed for all women of Good Shepherd- and their girlfriends- to carve some time out of their busy schedules for friendship. As we are called to “lift one another up in Christ,” we find we need time to foster our friendships in order to support one another.  GNO takes place quarterly.  Each event has a different theme, which the food, festivities and fun are planned around. 
• Women’s Bible Studies – We offer several different Bible Studies for women throughout the year.   Current weekly studies include a Thursday PM study from noon - 2 p.m. in Room 108.  Beginning Feb. 3rd they will be exploring the study, Discerning the Voice of God, by Priscilla Shirer.  Our Tuesday AM study is currently exploring the book, God's Whisper in a Mother's Chaos, by Keri Wyatt Kent.  We meet from 9:15-10:15 a.m. in Room 214.  Childcare is available for the Tues. AM study.
• Women's Retreat - Good Shepherd holds an annual women's retreat, with opportunity to refresh, relax and reconnect with God and other women.  This year's retreat will be held Sat., Jan. 21 and Sun. Jan. 22.  This year's retreat will be held all day Saturday (9-4) with the option to stay over Sat. night and worship together at the retreat center on Sunday morning.  Come for the whole event, or just for the day on Saturday!  Please contact Kim Ridenhour at 636-938-5339 or ridenhourclan@aol.com
• The focus of our G! Groups, Girlfriends Night Out events and Bible studies is on having fun and building relationships, with Christ and one another.  You are always welcome to invite your friends along with you to any of our activities.  We hope you’ll join us for some fun times and opportunities to "Follow Christ, Grow in Faith and Share God's love!"
