Library December Featured Book: God Came Near by Max Lucado

John 12:21

"Sir," they said, "We would like to see Jesus."

Max Lucado uses this as the focus of his book GOD CAME NEAR.  Quoting from his book, "I began this book with some definitions:  Christianity, in its purest form, is nothing more than seeing Jesus.  Christian service, in its purest form, is nothing more than imitating him who we see.  To see His Majesty and to imitate him...that is the sum of Christianity.  That's why God came near.  To be seen."

This book will enhance your advent worship but is worth a read anytime.
