Meeting held on Tuesday, May 26, 2009.

Opened with prayer at 7:00 p.m.

Present: Frank Noble, Pastor John, Jim Meyer, Bobbie Meyer, Don Cary, Lyn Cary, Carter Pederson

Last Month’s Minutes:

A motion was made by Don Cary and seconded by Frank Noble to accept April 28, 2009 minutes.   All in favor.

Guest Call Process:

Committee continued the discussion on the process of our new member orientation.

1. Wording of new member letter will be changed.

2. Reviewed schedule for our July 19, 2009 new member orientation. Will finalize at next meeting.

Shepherd Ministry:

Reviewed how we can communicate better with our Shepherds.  Julie Davidson has been working on this.  Will continue discussion at next meeting.

Spiritual/Motivational E-Mail Messages:

Discussed ways to use outside e-mail blast service.  We can use this service for a daily message and also general e-mails to our members.  A motion was made by Don Cary to move forward with looking into setting up a site and to verify cost before final discussion.  Seconded by Bobbie Meyer.  All in favor.

Greeter/Host Ministry:

Continued to review the progress of the program. Pastor John and Carter Pederson will place a thank you note in bulletin or Sheperd Staff thanking our Greeters.
