Toddler One Teachers

Dina Krotin- Lead Teacher

This is Dina’s 4^th year at Building Blocks. She has a degree in Elementary Education and her dream job is to work with kids! Dina also likes to cook and to spend time with her two children.

Lisa Zhao- Teacher Assistant

This is Lisa’s 4^th year at Building Blocks. She has a degree in Accounting and she really enjoys singing and dancing with the children! Lisa also likes to read and cook with her two children.

Jenny Alexander- Teacher Assistant

This is Jenny’s 1^st year at Building Blocks. She enjoys playing with the children and she is also very excited about working with the preschool children during Lunch Bunch! Jenny has two young children.

Toddler Two Teachers

Taira Price- Lead Teacher

This is Taira’s 1^st year at Building Blocks. She has a degree and certification in Elementary Education and a Master of Reading certification. Taira likes to get to know the children in her class by reading to them and laughing with them. She has to young children here at Building Blocks!

Jasna Selimovic- Assistant Teacher

This is Jasna’s 3^rd year at Building Blocks. She has a degree in Biology and she likes teaching at Building Blocks because she likes to spend time with the kids! Jasna likes to sew and paint and she has two older children.

Preschool Three Teachers

Susan Mayer- Lead Teacher

This is Susan’s 11^th year at Building Blocks. She has completed training in Project Construct Module 1- the MO Dept. of Education’s early childhood curriculum and she has a degree in Gerentology. Susan likes the closeness of our school and enjoys the love of the children and working with Barb.

Barb Schoenherr- Assistant Teacher

This is Barb’s 3^rd year at Building Blocks. She has a degree in Elementary Education and has completed training in Project Construct. Barb enjoys all our cooperative parents, enthusiastic children, and the great staff!

Preschool Four/Five Teachers

Angie Bekebrede- Lead Teacher

This is Angie’s 5^th year at Building Blocks. She has a degree in English and a certification in Early Childhood Education and she has completed training in Project Construct. Angie enjoys teaching at Building Blocks because our school is family oriented!

Jill Bimler- Assistant Teacher

This is Jill’s 1^st year at Building Blocks. She has over 15 years of experience working with young children! She is excited about planning for Lunch Bunch.

Discovery Room Teacher

Janis Halsey- Lead Teacher

This is Janis’ 4^th year at Building Blocks. Janis has a teaching Certificatewith an emphasis in Reading. She has completed Project Construct training, including the math and science components. She enjoys teaching preschool children and is proud that Building Blocks is a mission of her church.
