Mission/Philosophy
Building Blocks is committed to providing excellence in education for students from diverse backgrounds. We are a child-centered school that promotes play-based learning while children develop a Christ-centered value system.
The Building Blocks philosophy is focused on providing a high-quality early childhood education that promotes the development of lifelong learning in the following areas:
Our belief is that all children should have the opportunity to grow and learn to their fullest potential through active participation in experiences that are meaningful to them.
We recognize each child as a unique individual with particular patterns of growth and development.
We provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment that assists in building a positive self-concept.
We also provide hands-on, developmentally appropriate experiences that allow young children to explore, be creative, make choices and solve problems so they develop socially, emotionally, intellectually, spiritually and physically.
