The goal of GSLC's Sunday School program is to nurture disciples in their love of God and others.

Good Shepherd Sunday School has 11 classes and is open to all children age 2 through grade 8.

Pre-School (Annual Age Cutoff Date: 8/1) includes:

  • Little Lambs – age 2
  • Pre-School – age 3
  • Pre-Kindergarten - age 4
  • Kindergarten - age 5

Grades 1-5 participate in a special format. Each week will find them rotating through a different class including: Bible Story/Drama, Theater, Games/Bible Skills, Arts & Crafts, and Service/Cooking.

By studying the same Bible passage five different ways they will truly come to know and understand God’s message through that story.

3rd Grade Bibles - a 3-week Bible overview which parents attend with their children. After the study, Bibles (which have been provided by the church) are officially presented to the students.

Christmas Program - a pageant or play in which all children are participants.

Name Tags - 1st graders are presented with an official church name tag during a fall worship service.

Milestone Learning - grades take time during the year to study a specific topic such as: bible overview (3rd grade) and the 12 Disciples (6th grade).

Celebrate Children Sunday - a Sunday morning where the children read, greet, usher, sing during the church service.
